Pokeshaw Beach is located in the Parish of New-Bandon, northeast of Bathurst.
Pokeshaw Beach is a small paradise located in the Chaleur Region. It offers a superb view of the Pokeshaw Rock which houses among other things a cormorant colony. Sand and pebbles cover the beach along the Bay of Chaleur.
Enjoy the newly opened boardwalk- belvedere that offers a different view point on the rock: from above! Take the opportunity to learn more about this place and its links to Irish culture thanks to the explanatory panels.
Please take note that there is an access fee put in place for the summer: $2 per person per day, $5 per family per day or a seasonal pass at $25.
